Ample Aviation was established with the mission of assisting experienced CFIs and pilots in reaching their ATP minimums efficiently. Born out of the challenges associated with student scheduling, conflicts within flight schools, and aircraft downtime, Ample Aviation empowers you to accumulate as many or as few flight hours each month as necessary to achieve your objectives, all while avoiding exorbitant flight school rental fees.
The pricing structure is easy:
- $50 club initiation fee
- $110/hr time building rate ($55/hr per seat, fuel included)
- $55/hr for instruction/checkout
Block rates are also available as low as $90/hr.
Each plane is equipped with full 2-axis auto-pilot, GPS, and an emergency whole-airframe parachute.
The Aircraft
Ample Aviation offers a fleet of Flight Design aircraft all equipped with full glass cockpits and autopilot. The Flight Design excels in the
light sport category offering great stability in cruise flight, up to 8 hours of endurance, and the safety of a back up parachute recovery
system.
Getting Started
To begin the onboarding process, we require a checkout flight with one of our certified instructors. You can learn more about each instructor in their bio under the learn more button below or by navigating to the Flight Instructor Page. Once you’ve found an instructor you believe will be a good fit simply reach out to them with your next three available times and they’ll do their best to get you in.

The checkout flight normally includes 2-5 hours of transition training. This is billed at $165 per hour wet ($110 for the plane & $55/hr for instruction). If you feel you would like additional training practice after the initial training we also offer a program to help pair experienced time builders with new members.
